Why Prayer
Prayer is to the quality of our lives as water is to the seed of a plant. (Gregg Braden)
No prayer of supplication, but rather visualization and imagination, which is co-creation with the Divine .
Prayer is not a religious experience, but rather prayer is a spiritual technology as we come to the realization that we are the co-creators with the Infinite Mind which we call God.
God is not a man sitting on a throne who judges, condemns, rewards or needs to be worshipped.
God, the Infinite Spirit which dwells within each and every one of us is all there is and He is the life force of all life on Earth and throughout the whole Universe.
Prayer of supplication and invocation does not exist as God is always present within us and does not need to be begged.
If you choose to toast your bread you don’t sit there begging and imploring the toaster to please toast your bread. Do you? You plug it into the electrical outlet and once the toaster and the electricity become one unit….it’s done!!
Same thing with prayer. Visualization and imagination are faculties of genius and, once you plug your visions into the feeling/emotional being within you, then it’s done! One of the greatest example of prayer and faith that Jesus gave us was that he thanked God before He received because he understood that true nature of Infinite Mind.
He told us “That which is within you is greater than you”
Every man on Earth prays for something being a meal for his family, a house, health, wellbeing, abundance, peace…. but only a few receive.
Why?
Does God discern whether you are worthy or not? Oh…no!!! The moment you ask in prayer BELIEVING it’s done, it is. Unfortunately everyone prays but only a few believe. “When you ask in my name BELIEVING ye shall receive” “ Whatever the mind conceives and BELIEVES it will achieve” And so it is!!
I like to quote a wonderful man, a teacher and author, the founder of Science of Mind Church, Hernest Holmes who once said:
“I daily thank the God that IS that the god that man created does not exist”
AMEN!!
Now we need to realize that as long as we are in the human form, living on the physical Planet, we have to deal with the law of evolution which is called time. Time does not exist as we perceive it to be here on Earth. The only time there is in the Universe is always Right Now!!! But here on this plane of physical existence we are bound by TIMING and timing is everything. In the book of Ecclesiastics in the Old Testament of the Bible it is said: There is a time for everything under the sun…..a time to sow….and a time to reap. A time to be born….and a time to die. A time to laugh…. and a time to cry….. and on…. and on.
Therefore we MUST realize that when we ask in prayer believing it is done in Spirit, but it will take time to evolve into a physical manifestation. Once the conception begins the birth will follow, but only in God’s perfect time and in His perfect way. God is not a magician who makes golden eggs appear out of thin air. Oh…no!!
Now let’s be clear that no man on Earth can ever make a tree or a baby, but once the seed is planted it will grow and even more lavish it will grow if we nurture it, water it, feed it and love it! The same is true with prayer. We can only plant the seed but only the Higher Mind knows how to bring it into full physical manifestation. Once we conceive our dreams we must be loyal to them, we must nurture them, feed them, love them and fully expect them to become realities through visualization and imagination plugged into the power of our feeling/emotional being which is the Power of God within us.
“Seek ye first the kingdom… and all else shall be added unto you”
That’s Prayer!
“Your faith shall make you whole”

One Response to “Why Prayer”
You have a magnificent way of writing that touches me deeply. I am so grateful that Cenay put us together. I am asking Cenay, today, how to post this post in my blog.
I write a lot about the Law of Attraction. One of the key principles of that Law is that you believe. Prayer is the means to connect to God and that “knowing” that whatever we ask for it is done.
Keep Your Vision!
