Spirituality versus Religion
Spirituality and religion have nothing in common.
Yes, there are people that are basically spiritual but still need religion, and that’s perfectly all right. I am not here to condemn or judge because I respect and love all of God’s children.
There are good and spiritual people everywhere on Earth, among all creeds, in all societies, among all races. I am just referring to the Institutions that rule the masses in the name of their own-created gods.
However it’s time that we humans finally come to the ultimate realization that all Religions are basically man made rules. That’s all. Which rule do you choose to follow?
Why are there so many different sects in all religions?
If Religion teaches truth then there should not be separation and division among the believers.
All religions on Planet Earth are divided in many different sects, yet they claim to believe in the same teachings. How is this possible?
Why are the Catholics and Protestants still fighting?
Don’t they believe or understand the teachings of the Christ and of many other great Teachers?
Well….if they did then they would not be fighting against one another. I don‘t think that any of the Great Masters ever taught and encouraged man to hate, fight, judge, punish and much less destroy for the sake of being right, for the EGO!
Lucifer….man’s EGO….wanted to exalt himself above God rather then just being the Angel of God.
EGO / “E”dges- “G”od – “O”ut
We have been told by religious teachers that God created man in His image but the reality is that
Man has created many gods in his own imge
And that’s exactly what most Religious Institutions have done.
They have exalted themselves claiming of being superior to anyone or anything else.
My god is the only god, my religion is the only right one, my truth is the only truth…and on…and on…
As a child I was raised in the catholic faith as nothing else existed in Italy in those days. I grew up with the nuns and was told that only Catholics would go to heaven.
Is this what Jesus the Christ, Siddhartha Gautama the Buddha and many other Enlightened Ones have taught us through the millenniums?
I once asked a Jewish Rabbi: Is there any place for God in the world of religions?
His answer was: Hardly any…. just business and politics. Amen!
Religious Institutions don’t teach us how to grow spiritually. They only tell us how to follow their rules and to donate money so the religious leaders can have a wonderful and abundant life at the expense of many poor, uneducated, naive, innocent people that have been taught to follow their rules as being the ultimate truth.
How wealthy is the Vatican? If spirituality existed among those powerful rulers then there would not be poverty and hunger in this world of ours. Their wealth could feed millions of poor hungry people. But instead their wealth remains only among them and they exalt their power over the masses. And their wealth is totally tax free….ah…ah…
Is this what Jesus would do? Think about it!
“There is enough in the world for man’s need…but not enough for man’s greed” (Mohandas Gandhi)
Spirituality can only be experienced through the full realization of the Oneness with the Whole, with the Infinite Mind, with the Essence of our true Inner Being, the Spirit of God that dwells within each and every one of us humans and within everything that IS.
God is the only Source and Substance of all Creation!
“It is God living His life through us, not God doing something for us” (Joel Goldsmith)
But unfortunately the Ego of man, Lucifer, has chosen to remain totally carnal and religions keep us from remembering Who and What we really are. We all are the children of ONE and ONLY God.
Love for all of humanity, peace, abundance, harmony and well being are the birthright of all God’s creatures on Earth.
Greed is not a spiritual quality, power and control over others certainly is not a spiritual way of life.
Spiritual awakening and understanding would dissipate all hatred, prejudices, condemnations, judgments, resentments and only God’s Love would unite all people of this Planet to be ONE and there would be nothing but peace and brotherly love on this wonderful world that God created for us.
But the Ego of man never allowed the transformation and the awakening of the soul and only maintained a carnal, materialistic and greedy control over the masses, and all in the name of their own god.
“I daily thank the God that is, that the God man created does not exist.”
Ernest Holmes
Founder of Science of Mind
Jesus, along with many other Enlightened Beings didn’t come here to be worshipped and idolized.
But man has to believe in idols, something outside of himself because he is unable to recognize and acknowledge the presence of God within him.
Once we understand the true nature of our being then we shall live in the Presence of the Living God.
In these days of great evolutions new religions, new views are emerging. We think we are moving up higher, they tell us that we are ascending, but the reality is that we are still pagans and just the names of the idols are changing.
Along with all the Saints and many other idols, we now have Angels, Archangels, Aliens from the Pleiades, beings from Galactic Federations… and on…and on….and on….all the way back to the old Greek Mythology!
But what’s the difference? Man still wants to look up to something outside of himself. And this is due to the fact that we have never been taught the truth about our true Divine nature, but only stories, myths and legends.
To be spiritual is to love unconditionally all of God’s creation, all of God’s people regardless of shape, form or color. To be spiritual is to be aware that we all are ONE and then only love and peace would reign on this Planet.
Spiritual awakening would free mankind from greed, envy, jealousy, hatred, condemnation, judgments and destruction while religions constantly perpetuate all of the above.
How many wars has mankind fought, how much blood has been shed, how much destruction of innocent lives has been done in the name of their own personal Power which they call their god?
What about the Inquisition, the four hundred years of the Crusades, the Holocaust, the KuKluxKlan… the Spanish Conquistadors in South America who burned and slaughtered thousands of innocent people and children, and God only knows how many other hateful and destructive horrors have been performed by religious leaders in the name of their own-created Deity.
Many people use meditation and prayer which are wonderful means to connect with the Higher Self. However it is not enough to pray and meditate unless we learn to constantly live by the highest of principles, to love our neighbors as ourselves, to treat people with dignity, honesty, kindness, forgiveness, compassion and understanding.
“Not by the words…but by thy works ye shall be known”
“Let thy Light so shine that others may see it also”
The Father and I are ONE,
Dioro
