Worry is praying for the things we do not want
Being that I was born and raised in the old countries, under the teachings and the rules of deep ignorance, especially those made by the religious leaders of the time, I grew up believing that worry was not only necessary, but ultimately it was the only way to show our love and caring for ourselves and others. It was a spiritual virtue according to the authorities of those days.
Worry-Guilt-Fear were our “modus vivendi”
Who are you if you don’t worry? What’s the matter with you…have you no feelings? You have to worry about your bills, financial affairs, the kids, the safety of your loved ones, the job, the political situations, the general economy, about what others think, the weather and on…and on…and on…
